Erratum

In the article entitled "Absorption of macronutrients from a rice-vegetable diet before and after treatment of ascariasis in children" by K. H. Brown, R. H. Gilman, M. Khatun, and Md. G. Ahmed in The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition there was an error in Table 3. The data for nitrogen retention for subjects with heavy infections, as presented in Table 3, should read 9.4 ± 6.7% (mean ± SD) and 18.7 ± 5.9% for those subjects before and after treatment, respectively. The t value for the comparison of the corrected paired data = 2.90 (p < 0.05).
