Erratum

In the "Letter to the Editor" entitled "Destruction of vitamin B₁₂ by vitamin C" by Victor Herbert, Elizabeth Jacob, and Kit-Tai Judy Wong in The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition 30: 297-299, part of a sentence was omitted.

On page 298, left hand column, final full paragraph, the sentence should be as follows: "Finally, note in Table 1 that crystalline B₁₂ solution lost half its microbiologically assayable vitamin B₁₂ content of 320 pg of B₁₂/ml when exposed to vitamin C in an amount as added to the homogenized lunch (0.5 g of vitamin C in a total volume of 830 ml)."
